Being a tractor with a VP44, I really don't want to run out.

Its downhill, and you'll drive it more economically than you have been when those figures where calculated.

Range 2 miles, that's errr.........brave.  ;D

Being a tractor with a VP44, I really don't want to run out.

Had to hand prime the truck the other day after a filter change. Primer is right next to a bracket so you skin your knuckles as you do it.   >:(

I wouldnt even worry about it....

Ive never known a range comp to change to 0 miles and promptly run out
Manu's know peeps will let the range goto 0 before looking for a garage...

You've probably got 15-20 miles left yet  :y

If it was a petrol or self bleeding diesel, I wouldn't bat an eyelid. Its just these crap VP44 pumps, if you run out, its a tow to get it bled somewhere.

I know my Bullet did 18 miles more once it hit 0 miles on range, and still only took 73l. TB1 ran out before it hit 0 range. They are variable it seems.

I did read on the tinternet that Zafira's with the VP44 pumps will start eventually after loads of cranking.....or even one bloke reckoned he had jacked up the rear of his Zafira, pressurized the fuel tank with an air line, cranked it , and it started..... :-\

But i suppose the real answer is to pop to tesco or wherever in your Omega and fill a fuel container up for the Zafira......chuck that in it....then take the Zafira to the garage  :y
