Have a Long Thin Black one you can borrow if you want.

Just need to remember what I did with the Key, as not been used for years.  :-\

No worries, if no one here comes up trumps, get a second hand one of the Bay or Gumtree, I would recommend Thule, there well made and last a lifetime, the Alpine Range are quiet good but any Thule will do the job.  :y

How big does it need to be?
I have a smallish one. It's not as good as the Thule, though I have their roof bars, but nor is it as expensive  ::)

360 looks good, or more  :-\

Like idea of slim one, as I could get bike racks on too. I have official Vauxhall bars  :)

Mines more of a standard, squarer shape, which wouldn't suit your purposes then.
If it's for the saloon, just watch the overhang, fore and aft  :y

The fittings for the box will dictate the spacing

Must be adjustable? All cars different. Omega ones must go on the markings?

Mine has two sets of u shaped brackets which protrude through the base. The bars fit through these, and the brackets tighten inside the box. These aren't variable, but I guess others could be different. It's one of the reasons I picked this particular box.

Nah. I use these things called "hotels". You don't have to tow them, set them up or empty your own shite from them.  :D

I had a Karrite 360l one, and it fitted well. Not sure I'd want anything any longer, due to overhang.

But without an LPG tank, if you need a roofbox, you need to have a good sitdown with her, until she understands she can only take certain items
