3 Little things that should be better

Minor point maybe.

3 things really annoy me on my Omega 2.6CD

1. The intemittant speed wiper only has 1 speed (My 3.2 has variable)

2. The carpet in the boot is badly fitted and of very poor quality - not befitting a premium saloon.

3. The centre console looks like an after thought it is not integrated into the rest of car at all. My wife says she thinks its like something you'd buy from halfords.

Surely the centre consul is the same on both your cars :-/
You can retrofit the variable wipe ;)

Yes Dazzler its crap on them of both. Couldn't they come up with a better design

I thought the Elite had the same centre console. Could be wrong though.

the centre console is the same on all facelifts, the prefacelift one does look better.

I agree about the variable wiper, i have a variable stalk here but the wiring is different and that really pi$$es me off as i like that facility
