Perhaps I'm in the minority but I quite miss the curmudgeonly old bastard. :)

Maybe the 'grim reaper' has finally come for him........or perhaps the shame of Daewoo ownership has sent him into hiding.  :)

I don't see him in the members list any more, unless I just didn't see. Abducted by aliens ? Run off ithe a rich widow?  Run off with a toyboy ? Thrown a wobbly about something ? Just got fed up ? Bought a decent car ? Who knows
