Apparently it would spoil the 50/50 handling balance, Mr Emd.

The rotary engine has a flat torque curve just like a big american V8. The only difference being that a big capacity V8 has loads of torque everywhere whilst the rotary engine has SFA torque everywhere.

There's been a few engine conversions on them , mostly 4 pots ..

My only concern is that 230 BHP will be too much for a 'mere' girlie.....

She's taken my M3 around Oulton Park before now


On the engine conversion front - there's been plenty of LS* into RX7 conversions, I imagine there's been some into the 8 as well.. though I'd love an RX7 with an LS3 in it, I think they're far better looking than the RX8 even

That's still in the garage.. looking a lot like it did a year ago 

The RX8 is meant to be replacing the M3 as a fun interim car when the M3 gets traded in to a Nissan dealer in September for something very sensible and boring.. although in a perfect world the sensible boring car would be replacing the Omega!

Is the trunk the same faded  A good mopping should bring color back
