i am looking at sorting out my alloys my self.

i want to have them resprayed in a gun metal colour which i think will look good on my black estate.

the reason i have said this is bacause i can find any alloys that i like other then the MV6 ones and they are like rockin horse poo although i know of an OOFer who has a set in his shed but wont part with them. as they tend to buckle to easy.

i am at present trying to sorce another set of alloys (with tyres) to put on my motor while i redo my alloys. only after a cheep set with enough tread on tyres to last a month or so!

So once i have doe this and get the tyres off my alloys. what do i need to do? i want to make them look bling bling.

A quick Google for "repray alloys" brought up several people doing the same thing, this guy http://www.fiatforum.com/miscellaneous-guides/65006-home-alloy-wheel-refurbishment-re-spray.html might be a good way to start. Rattle cans get a bit of a bad name, and yes they are expensive, but if I can get a good finish on my son's laptop, I'm sure you can do good !!!

I've got two spare sets of 16"cdx wheels with legal tyres if your interested only want £40 a set.

The wheels are the same as the ones in this link and i have 8 wheels in total. So £40 for 4 wheels and tyres

 i am actually tempted to keep these ones on the motor and replace the tyres on one pair. and give them a good clean up.  :-/ :-/ :-/
