IMO, Salmond offered not one single fact as to why Scottish independence is better. Either for the Scott's, or The English.

....but then I haven't watched the whole thing ;D

He does indeed always look surprised. Or taken aback at the gobby arrogant Scott on the other side of the studio. ;D

In my eyes, Salmond made an erse of himself last night.

If he gets his way then he's gonna make an erse of my country as well.

Nobody wants to see that. There might be a "healthy" rivalry between the Scott's and the English but its just that, rivalry, as far as I'm concerned. And long may it remain "healthy" :y

That is very true, and I worked in London town for a number of years, trying to keep this rivalry going.
Jeez, I've even got 2 brothers born on the wrong side of the wall.  ;D
The venom that this Yes/No thing is being 'fought' is astounding, and is managing to turn Scot against Scot.
I've actually had to delete friends from the book of face after they've gone all neanderthal on me.
I'll be glad when its all over TBH.
