Although as Gixer always says, "A meal no involving curry is a wasted curry opportunity"  ;D

And.. on venue.. I thought the Viceroy was pretty good, and is quite central.

Miah's isn't too bad, but the second mortgage following the last visit is smarting a bit. ;)

Just remembered that we tried a new place in Alton last week and it was excellent. It's quite an "intimate" place (i.e. we'll probably take over the place if we go there) but the food was excellent.

Worth considering  :y might depend on numbers though if it's a modest size...
