Don't know about Coke but I had some green shit in a bottle the last time I used the motorway services.

Bottles more sensible as you can re seal it. ...and the hand brake holds the bottle nicely if wedged in.  Doesn't hold the cold temp like cans though.

Coke tastes different in The States as they use Fructose instead of Sucrose. 

I bet you can buy it in cans in the services though!    16 ounce cans I expect!
