I have still to discover the location of the fuel filter on my 2003 MV6.

Gentlemen......I hang my head in shame.

Looking at the records I have, I don't believe that it has ever been replaced.


Is it underneath the car like the family Corsa?

Easy DIY fix?

Inexpensive DIY fix?

Mine was underneath near the back end. From memory it was held onto the fuel lines by a fiendish clip at each end.

Yes, on the near side just back from the rear wheel arch.  It is best to acquire the special tool to remove the filter clips.

Guess your motto is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" Opti    50K is certainly good mileage for a fuel filter - although I have heard of higher mileage fuel filters
