Tin tent blues

So the tin tent is down to bare bones  ::) Stripped out as a few roof cross members were rotten  ::) re designed the bathroom and re studded a new partition and made the dining area bigger .. so much for a bargain .. oh and the gas fridge pipes were holed  ::)

But its coming along with the help of my father and martin 4x4 :D

Should be ready by next spring  :D

Unfortunately not , still under construction  ::) The bathroom has been made 3 times as big with only a hole in the floor at the minute for waste products  ;D

As for lining the batons , some say only use plywood but ive already bought ply board  ??? Plywood is very expensive  :(

 Hello kev  :y I think as long as its pinned enough it should be ok ..possibly slightly heavier than plywood but there's not much to re-cover  :y All the old wood has been ripped out and replaced now and original timbers treated // all seams sealed  :y

just a note on moving stuff around and adding stuff don't forget its original design and weight distribution,you don't want something unstable on the road  :y

Yes thanks for that , im going to be making a sink cabinet and drainer with the water storage on the opposite side to the changed bathroom so should even itself out  ;) If anything the caravan will be lighter as the old gas fire / gas-electric fridge and gas cooker have all be removed and wont be going back in  :y

Why would you do that? that is the advantage of a caravan, having a fridge, cooker and fire, not to mention a shower............. ::) ::)
