my mv6 temp gauge question
« on: 20 August 2014, 22:44:37 »

so earlier i asked about the temp gauge dropping under where it normally sat. before usually about 85/90 it has done for yonks. anyway it started dropping down to just over 80. i have replaced hbv valve and coolant change and had aircon recharge but still doing it. i came back from a 800 mile trip to ayr yesterday and there and back with aircon on it sat about 80/85 only going up slightly to 90/95 when sat in traffic. the fuel consumption too was better going up as filled with shell and got 33/34 mpg but coming back filled at morrisons and got 30/31 maybe nothing but anyway temp gauge still same coming back,no overheating no puddles etc any ideas as temp gauge 8) maybe lazy?

Sounds like the beginnings of a lazy thermostat :-\ but don't forget it has been a bit cooler this last couple of weeks :y
