Motor Neurone Disease ( What they call ALS over the pond) is a terrible way to go.    I know someone who passed away last week 4 years after being diagnosed with MND.  The poor bugger spent 4 years watching his body shut down bit by bit as he gradually became a cabbage.  I think it was pneumonia that got him in the end as he lost the ability to cough, his lungs filled up with mucus and as he couldn't clear it he basically drowned in his own snot! 

Anything that raises awareness and money for research into these terrible diseases is a good thing in my opinion and if nominated I'll gladly do it and donate.    I believe that millions of dollars have been donated to the ALS society in America and the Motor Neurone Disease Association here in Britain has reported an increase in donations due to the Ice Bucket Challenge! 

It's a good thing in my opinion!

There was a girl in the US killed as well - broken neck when her sister (I think) dropped a giant bin full of water on her head right side up.. Probably 25Kg of water from 4ft away does a lot of damage, it turns out.

'course Amy's little brother nominated me yesterday so now, despite how much I despise charities as organisations run only for the gain of their overpaid board of directors silly I think the whole thing is, I now feel compelled to do it..
