Code reader - sale question
« on: 27 August 2014, 13:34:11 »

Afternoon fellas,

i just purchased a abs/airbag code reader. but i chose the wrong one. my fault for not reading description thoroghly enough.

Anyway, it came from china. it's not even been used (i saw the description on the package wasnt what i wanted so decided to speak to them immediately about a return)

anyways, the company wont pay shipping so at £93 it doesnt make sense to send it back.

am i allowed to advertise it for sale here? dont want to break any oof rules :)

I think that new distance selling laws means that the seller has to accept returns AND pay for postage for up to 7 days after the goods are recieved.  It only applies to UK businesses I guess so not sure if that would be the same for this seller as it came from China unless it is a UK based seller (ie dropshipper)

If they sent you the wrong item, or a damaged item ( their f**k up) then the seller is liable for the cost of return postage

If they sent you what you ordered, but you ordered the wrong item (your f**k up) then you are liable for return postage.

I think.

Second option sadly. Thanks for confirming Opti. I'll put up sales ad :)
