.......
I think many OOFers have in the past upgraded from lower specs to the higher specs, and then hang on to them.

Not me, I go straight for the biggest engine and highest spec every time as I like to maximise my losses.  :)

Just had need to look at my V5 and noticed my Omega was registered 1st September 2003.

Now on a web site detailing the history of the Omega they state "on 25th June 2003, the last Omega rolled out of the factory in Rüsselsheim".

If true, is mine one of the last? ??? ???

I would point out it was a Vauxhall Management car when new so probably quickly registered and not left in store too long.
It doesn't prove Jack, Lizzie.

My Omega was registered on the 20th December 2003.......53 plate.

According to Mr Jimbob it rolled off the production line in Germany in June 2002..... :o :o

As for where it was for those 18 months, well, your guess is as good as mine.

If you give Jimbob your registration number he can tell you when it rolled off the production line. :y :-* :-* :-*

Thanks Opti :y :y

My 2.2 first reg is 30 September 2003 & I`ve found date codes on the trim for May 2003
So I`m assuming my car was completed at some point between these 2 dates.  The first date code I found is the trim makers label stuck on the inside of the spare wheel cover & found another on the underside of the rear seat  :)

Seatbelt labels are the best indicator of build date :y

Just found out from my Vx dealer that my Omega was built 14th May 2003, so only about 5 weeks before production ceased. 8) 8)

No Opti, thank goodness! :D :D

Remember that time now long ago when fields used to be filled with pre-reg cars, often destined eventually for the car hire market to produce false production/sales figures? ???

Mine was registered in 2004 on a '53 plate. How would I find out when it was built?
