Watch Charlie Brooker's "Black Mirror" Series 1 Episode 2.  Really hammers home quite how grim this kind of TV is.  :(

I thought I would give it a go as there was nothing else on that was a good alternative, and anyway to critise it you need to watch it every so often!! :D :D :D :D ;)

The best act I saw was a young woman who had splendid diction, being public school educated, and was a class or four above the normal fodder! She was so well dressed, in a retro 1940s style, and sung with a blues voice. Now she was impressive, and reminded one of Marilyn Monroe. A real star in the making for the silver screen?  I wonder 8) 8) 8) 8) :y

Dunno but if there's nothing else on, you can usually depend on an episode of Grand Designs being shown on Dave, Jim or Even More 4!  ;D
