I heard on the news this morning that there was going to be quite a few empty seats (unless we do the Chinese thing and give them away free). I certainly won't be watching.

What odds can you get on a Norway win and have you put a bet on STMO?

England 4/9, Norway 7/1. No, I haven't had a bet. It's a pointless match with players who may or may not make a full international team. Add to this the fact that you can use about a hundred substitutes and it becomes a complete unnecessary farce.

Can you imagine the impact a broken leg for, say, Rooney or Sterling, would have on their respective teams season. What for? Nothing.

I'm with STMO
A totally pointless exercise, and the risk of injury. Won't be watching, better things to do.

Surely the point , the whole point of these International matches is to weld a winning team out of a bunch of folk who play at club level. I couldn't care less who wins the club season but I so want England to win or do well in something like Euro or World Cup. They get paid enough

Now that football is no longer a mans game broken legs are few and far between. A broken fingernail is more likely. :)

I'd like to see the England football team play the England rugby team........forty five minutes football.......forty five minutes rugby.

The first forty five minutes would need to be football though, as their wouldn't be a second half otherwise. ;D ;D ;)

Weld a winning team by playing an international against a team who didn't qualify for Brazil and are ranked number 57 in the world? More like an ego trip.........provided we win.. ;D
