Trigger finger?
« on: 04 September 2014, 18:15:54 »

Well only been on the job for 3 weeks and persistent use of air tools , average 3000 bolts gunned per shift, it appears i have developed" trigger finger" already, 3 fingers on my right hand are locking up and are extremely painful. I've never had any issue before but haven't used tools with this frequency either so it doesn't bode well for a long term career in this area. I've been shifted onto a non power tool job which was nice of them but can't see me being much use long term in a car factory  ::)

Anyone else had this ? is there a way of managing it ?

I"ll have a work with the ground workers tomorrow at work (or at least grunt as they don't seem to have evolved to the point of talking yet) as ive seen them wearing heavy looking Gloves when on the heavy breakers, whilst not same as your issue id hazard a guess its all down to vibration.?
