I will be changing the front discs/bads on my facelift mv6
Are there sensors on both sides and can I use pad sensors again.

fairly sure only one side has sensors . I have never been able to use old sensors they break on extraction,fairly cheap for new on fleaby.

There are two sensors, one on each front wheel. They usually break on dis-assembly! Replacements are available from Eurocar parts - Part no 106720128 @ about £10 each.

Nope, only one pad sensor on the facelifts, nearside front if you can remove it without breaking it then reuse, but it will break on removal, sure as eggs is eggs

Lets clear this up...

Pre 2001, all CD and higher have 2 sensors. Post 2001, they have 1. Not related to PFL or FL.

Sensors are around £7 each on tradeclub for genuine. Why anyone would ever use euroshiteparts ones is beyond me. There are 2 different types as well.

Well that's that sorted then... earliest car I have had the pleasure of the brakes on is 2002

Having encountered a few pattern sensors over the years and found the sensor to be brittle and the rubber parts on the cable to be so rock hard as to be very difficult to fit, I would not recommend pattern to anyone.

What IS the fascination with euroshitheads these days anyway? They sell a good deal of tat that's been on the shelf for a very long time when it comes to omegas.

Not a truer word spoken, as its an open fourm i won't go into details but lets just say i'll never used them again. Did you know that if you buy on line you can get the parts cheaper than a trader can if he orders direct from branch

I use a couple of local independents who i can have a chat with and they will always be able to help or will know someone who can, failing that now Unipart has gone i'll use Andrew Page as they are more trade orientated.
