Radiator cleaning
« on: 13 September 2014, 17:41:18 »

As I have the rad off the TD to replace the condenser (at last RobG!), I thought I would give it a clean out. What is the best stuff to leave in overnight to help remove any rubbish? :y

I forget the name of it, but there's a central heating system cleaner which does a pretty tidy job iirc :y

If the rad has cold spots, nothing removes it.  The TDs are prone to silting up the rad, and I never found a reasonable cost pattern one for the TD (the usual places just refund you after a few days, stating none in stock)
