Aye. Philps in Hayle make the best steak pasties IMHO. Usually bring a box or 2 home - its a killer driving home with the smell of hot pasties...
Theres a solution to that. Here in Plymouth we have a pasty company who sends then by post :y

They are the ones TB; done that, been there, and worn the ever expanding t-shirt!! :D :D

When we lived near Bristol I used to come back with a Carlton boot fall for the freezer.  Never as nice though as they were fresh from the Hayle oven! :y :y
When we go, I'm partial to a Philps and a bag of chips from one of the chippies in Hayle that still uses Beef dripping. Take it to Godrevy and devour overlooking St Ives bay...
Having just got in from a night shift, that almost sounds tempting enough to jump back in the car and head down there for lunch...

Of course, knowing my luck they're closed on Sunday, and I wouldn't think to check before leaving ::)

There was a signal, very weak, managed to pick up emails, wasn't going to pay the extortionate rate the camp site was asking for WiFi.

Did something we have always wanted to do, took a trip to the Scilly Isles, what a beautiful place.

The local farm shop made their own pasties, they were something to die for, as were their sausages and steak :y

Plenty of 3G in cornwall, even for O2 customers.

Plenty of areas with no cellular signal as well ;D

Philps are very good,so are Lavenders in Penzance and Horse and Jockey in Helston are good too :y
