Also I think I have worked out the mileage question - it has only done 25000 - he has made a typo.

Ad says belt done 7500 miles ago - service book says that was at 17000 miles - it works out.......

Please someone buy this before the weekend or I will go and get it!!!!!

Advert clearly says 55,000 miles twice, so not a typo, yet in the first picture of the dash, zoomed in the mileage looks like ?28273 and in the second picture, the 8273 are clearly visible although the first two digits are hidden

As Stmo suggested yesterday, summat isn't quite right... I would definitely be doing an MOT history check on that

It is odd,your right Al it does have 20 odd thousands in the pics,unless these pics are old,ie soon after the last mot

If anything it must have been done earlier, or very late somewhere during its life, as it was registered in March. 
That's not a crime though, could have been tested early for new buyer, or sat around for a few months.

Mileage is cocked up twice in the listing... Once you can understand, but 55,000 isn't even close to 25300...

If it's kosher then all well and good, but that is probably why it hasn't sold

Yes that is what it says, but why not just say I have owned it for the last 10 years.  The one previous owner, for just 2 years, is not worth mentioning on a car of this age.

Just seemed strange, but so many of the statements made on ebay can read in a way to raise suspicion when none is justified, as could well be the case here.............but then we have that mileage............!

I tell you this has made me very tempted, but thank God it is in Derby otherwise I would make an offer after inspecting the car and documents.  I don't need two cars, that just means a doubling of costs when I need other things, but I would love to see this car.
