Will they or won't they?
« on: 10 October 2014, 17:17:19 »

Amazon have dispatched by Amazon Logistics, nothing has arrived, yet tracking says delivered and signed for by me.

Called Amazon, and they eventually said it was still on the van, and will be delivered today.

What do you reckon?

I have, without fail, found Amazon to be very good at delivering in amazing time scales; like you order in the afternoon and next morning it is delivered!

Even products from sub-suppliers, under the Amazon banner, have delivered to me product from different parts of the world in very satisfactory times.

In my experience Amazon can even get the Royal Mail to deliver on time! :D :D :y :y

I reckon one of the following scenarios:

1) Courier has nicked lost it
2) Courier had no other Brackley deliveries, so just stated they have delivered, and chucked it in the canal.

Either way, I'm expecting a bit of a battle with the useless mongrels at Amazon, as they can be a complete PITA to deal with when things go Pete Tong.

I have had the complete opposite in my dealings with them. I have even been refunded for items which were left next door. When I told them I had the items, they never took the money back.
I reckon you have trouble with customer services because you're too laid back. Try being a bit more assertive, Jaime.

If my dealings with them today are indicative, then no. They are the consistently worst delivery company I've encountered.

By that I mean every order for the last year has came up with attempted delivery, when they haven't.

On the plus side I've found amazon quick at refunding me my postage and fairly often, whole order.

That was predictable. Just had an email that they just attempted delivery but nobody in. I wonder why they never left a card then.

I think part of the problem is every time I have to speak to these idiots on the phone, its because something has gone wrong, and they have no idea how to cope with that. Hence they then stonewall, and I end up having to get shouty.

They really are a shower of shits - slick when its on script, but utterly useless when it goes off script.

*sigh*, they accept that they haven't really tried to deliver today, but won't guarantee it arriving tomorrow. Apparently they have called the delivery depot twice, but then admitted they don't have numbers for the depots.

Just like Eurocarparts. They are fine if everything goes to plan but totally useless if there is a hitch. :-\

Had a driver state he deliverd a parcel, but had launched it over the 6ft back gate.

When ive phoned to give them grief they passed the complaint onto the driver who then came round the house and started questioning the wife whilst I was at work.

His manager couldn't see the problem with that...the driver will. :-X
