99% of the time Amazon have come up Trumps with delivery here! However when that 1% is needed ASAP, then I can commiserate with you TB as it is so piss boilingly incompetent.

no problems with Amazon here. Slightly damaged packaging when her Kindle arrived iirc, but the product was fine. Apart from that....

....maybe it's a remote village issue? :)

If I was being kind, yes, its that. Not that Brackley is a village, as much as some of the more toffy residents would like it to be classed as one ;D.  Yodel have recently done a similar stunt of not delivering when promised, and attempting delivery 4 days later, with some goods from Ebuyer (in fact, that parcel still hasn't been found, but at least you can call Ebuyer, and speak to somebody who can sort it out, unlike Amazon staff who can't do anything that I can't do on their website).

I hope it is just that, as the alternative is its already been nicked, or is already in the canal.  I'd waited ages for this to come into stock, as only other UK suppliers are around £100 more.  This is why I am chasing them so much, as Amazon have no more stock, so can't send replacements.

I've been selling stuff on ebay recently and have used Hermes who seem really good!  :y

You can drop parcels off at participating local corner shops some of which are open till 10pm and they're much cheaper than the Post Office.  :y

Although I've got a bit of an issue with a buyer at the moment as he's never in and the parcel needs to be signed for.  ::)  I think he's going to try to pin the blame on me for the non delivery!  ::)

For urgent/high value, I use UPS, for other stuff I simply pop it down to the Post Office...

Out of loyalty I would use TNT (having worked for them), but as they officially won't collect/deliver from domestic addresses, I cannot... this point really grips my shit, as I spent two and a half years doing just that >:(

I have, without fail, found Amazon to be very good at delivering in amazing time scales; like you order in the afternoon and next morning it is delivered!

Even products from sub-suppliers, under the Amazon banner, have delivered to me product from different parts of the world in very satisfactory times.

In my experience Amazon can even get the Royal Mail to deliver on time! :D :D :y :y

I am with lizzie on this one...been using amazon for a while now and have never had a problem with them or their delivery
