Pug 206 front door
« on: 13 October 2014, 21:22:23 »

Guys, sorry if I've asked this before but finally got all things sorted on wife's pug 206 before her mot.

She has a gti with leather interior. She needs a replacement front drivers door but I can't get a gti door for love nor money. My questions.  . . .

Will a standard 206 door fit?

Will the electric connections fit?

Cheers guys

 Don't be silly, Webby. A standard door wont be able to keep up with a GTi body.
Honestly......... ::)

I know it's early, but did you really just ask that :o

Assuming it's a three door, then any door from any three door 206 ever made will fit, regardless of colour...

Simply swap the trim, inside and out, over from the old door to the new one. :y

Mrs Bear will probably notice if it's a different colour, so you might consider that point ::)

Haha! Yes i did.  :P ;D

I should have been more clear though.................

i have been told the door card isnt swappable from the GTI to a standard door.

And also, would the connectors match up? i'm thinking prob not.

The French can be daft, but they're not entirely stupid...

The same lock motor, the same window motor, the same mirror... hell, I'll go as far as to say the same loom ::)

As long as the new door is from the same phase, then you should be fine :y
