Saga car insurance.
« on: 01 November 2014, 12:40:03 »

I informed them £110.99 was an  excessive amount of money to insure a humble 1.2 litre Corsa for myself and Mrs Opti. It'a not a Bugatti Veyron, I told them.

They agreed, and have reduced the premium to a flat £100. For good customer relations they added free legal protection ......apparently worth £27.

I'm happy enough with that. :y

Living in quiet, peaceful rural Lincolnshire clearly helps reduce the risks :D

I have to say that the girls who man the lines at Saga were most helpful.

The lady I spoke to today had a nice husky voice. :-* :-* :-* :-*

was with saga for 8 years always good service and extremely cheap to insure the omega,s and would still be with them if they would have insured my van(vwT4),so bought the van sold the rav4 on 12june quick phone call established they could not insure the van, ok cancel my policy then shame about you not being to do it,please forward my proof of Ncb, and thanks vrry much for the good service,

Oh yeah? it took till august the 9th before they would cancel it and 9 phone calls and 8 emails,
eventually had the managing director on,told him it takes less then an hour to insure my cars why nearly 8 weeks to cancel?the rav4 was registerd at dlva inside a week I checked the dlva database on june 22 and it was in the new owners name, so why did they have a hissy fit and ask me to prove i had sold it> then they said sorry cant refund the remaining 3 months on the policy, said i never asked for a refund just wanted proof of ncb for breaks sake,
so good and cheap if you are 50, but a pain to leave! :y
