Joking aside, the media are always keen to pin labels on people, and the more atrocious people behave, the more outlandish those labels become. People vary from being the kindest, gentlist most thoughtful individuals all the way through to derranged, psychotic serial killers. Most of us sit somewhere to the nice end of that spectrum, fortunately. But as soon as a judge sticks their head over the parapet, the illconsidered do gooders jump on the human rights bandwagon and a hard, just response gets soften to a light touch. That 15 year old psycopath being a case in point. Life imprisonment for people who are that dangerous should mean an asylum rather than prison...
