It works :y

So it does  :y

I bought one today as well.....tho I bet you didn't have the fun and games I did AA  :-\

The Swindon branch didn't have them on display and initially said they didn't have them, until I showed them their website saying they were in stock. Then when they did find them in the stock room, they tried to charge me £19.99....again I had to show them their website showing they were on offer at £13.xx . They sold it to me at that price  ::)

I had exactly the same fun and games, I had to show the local branch the web site, came up on their screen @ £19.99, but they price matched it :y

I like the standby time quoted of upto 28days (but we will see!) and the fact you don't have to remember to turn it off....it seems to turn itself off after about 20-30mins of not being connected to the phone  :y

I have to ask why it's been mentioned Parrot kit doesn't work with BOSE kit in the omega?

I've fitted the Parrot MKi9200 into both my Omega Elite's and Vectra C Elite with no issues whatsoever  :y

It works for phone, via mono input for phone only. But you don't need bose for that. However if you want to play music via stereo and bose proper with quality sound that bose gives, you can't, as the ONLY input to the head unit is Mono, for phone.

Unless the partot has an emulator that can be hard wired, which I don't think it does, does it?

Hi Chris,

I'm not technically knowledgable about this I'm afraid. All I know is that my phone auto connects to the parrot and it kills any music if my phone sends or receives calls and comes through all the speakers. It's crisp and clear and allows me to plug a USB stick with all my music on.

I may not have the ears to say it's perfect, but I can't tell any degradation in the music coming through it  :-\

At the end of the day, it works and it works well for me, but we all have different views on what is "quality" and I'm not going to argue with a techie who knows more. 😄

Has anyone actually verified that these FM devices are actually stereo......As standard FM is mono and an additional am channel has to be added to send stereo difference info

The other thing they did was to unpack it, take it to my car and checked that my phone would connect to it before I bought :y

Sounds like its fitted in the standard Parrott way, but the usual mongrel audio fitters who do not understand....

If it works for you :y, but we cannot recommend it due to the potential damage the impendence mismatch may cause.  It will be fine on the Vectra-C, they are so poorly specced, the Parrott actually can drive them.
