Cherries help. They speed up the break down of uric acid crystals. And celery too. Drink a sh*t load of water too.

Probably the most painful thing I've ever suffered with so you have my sympathies.

That's what I'm on. Doesn't touch it TBH, but does make me sleep through it. Aspirin makes me sleep  :-[, so these tablets, 500mg strength, knock me out.

Being a fat bastard, I often pop half an Aspirin before flying.  I don't always see push back (ooo-er missus), and still pretty dopey when walking out of the airport the other end  :-[
