You'll most likely get one before this but... I'm off to get some bits off a scrap car at the weekend. I'll be replacing the thermostat on mine purely as a preventative measure, as the plenum's currently off my V6. Anyway, as I'll be able to get a transfer pipe, you are more than welcome for price of postage/beer money whatever, to have my old one.

The 'ifs'...
If I get to the scrap car
If it's still there
If I get time to get to the thermostat
If it - and mine - come away without the bracket breaking
If you haven't got one by then, already!

I don't want to sound negative, just don't want to promise you one 'yerr got one ere m8' only to then message you in a week and say 'nahh, broke it, sorry'

On the up side, like I say, if all goes well, yours for price of postage / ale money, whatever  :y

Sorry to jump in before this thread is locked, but would it be ok if Mr Emd could post the final dealer price of the parts in question? Just for future reference to anyone else viewing this thread. Seems to happen a lot where a price gets quoted like '£30', well actually it's £33... well plus vat, so £39.60, and the seal was extra, ah, but they're only a couple of quid... well, £3.40... plus vat, so £4.08.. so total is £43.68... you get the idea  ;)

Many thanks :)

Last transfer pipe I bought was 11+vat qnd people seem to have ready access to thermostats for 15... Wahler? The genuine gm stat I fitted came from the states for about half what Vauxhall wanted :-\ and I don't have TC access either ::)
