What battery make and size would the members suggest for my 3.2 elite?

Supposed to be a 65AH one from memory.

You can get a 70AH from VX which will fit inside the jacket still.

Supposed to be a 65AH one from memory.

You can get a 70AH from VX which will fit inside the jacket still.

Mine is 71AH. :)

From memory,,,have i read somewhere you must have an alternator that puts out enough amps to keep that battery fully charged..but if you fit a far higher amp battery and the alternator cant keep up with it then it could burn the alternator out  :-\

Nah - Elites come with a 120A Alternator.  That's plenty for a 60-80Ah Battery.  :y

Mine was 72Ah, it provides unbelievable cranking power in comparison with the 60Ah or so, and I paid $80 three months ago...

When you type in your car on euro crap parts it only shows 72Ah batteries, options of 60Ah. Even the 72Ah batteries vary in the cca.

70 ah from Vx was £70 a few weeks ago - and cheaper than a 65ah, bizarrely!!!
