Well I stripped out the sunroofs of the Disco the other week, and now this week am putting them back in. What a bloody job!!!! I'm only doin it once and am bloody making sure I NEVER have to do it again!!!
Stripped, cleaned seals of old gunk, replaced with lashings of flexable waterproof sealant
Removed both motors - both knackered as they were seized, stripped & rebuild and now work
removed runners - again seized, stripped, greased & rebuilt now slippier than a slippy thing
drain holes removed & re-sealed, Pipes cleaned & unblocked
Bottom tray sealed
Sunroof seal to body - re-sealed
Front sunroof replaced, motor added, re-sync so that tilt, slide & close work properly

RESULT!!!!! in & works properly

Roof rails removed & resealed
Right now get it back into the garage before it rains! AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! Battery flat

Can't find me jump leads for love nor money, can't leave it outside as there's no rear sunroof in it

gonna turn green soon). Then remembers jump leads are in the Skoda

jump starts and in before it chucks it down.

I tell ya IF they bloody leak after this I'll weld the damn things shut!!!!!!
