trip computer inaccurate
« on: 10 December 2014, 21:26:42 »

My trip computer seems to be all over the place. Crusing at 40mph the instant says 38-40mpg. If I just marginally increase the throttle and I mean a tiny amount  it shows around 10mpg. With my old omegas I had to floor it to get that. I'm getting about 100 miles per £20 so I'm averaging around. 27mpg but my trip is saying 14 which I know isnt correct. Is there anything I can do?

Mid  might be configured to a different model... press and hold both buttons on the stalk... screen will show a whole load of numbers...

That's the config info. Someone will be able to decipher it if you post the details here... :y

2.6 v6, non 16" wheels, xenon lights.

Does that match your car?
