Getting a bit worried about my daewoo
« on: 22 December 2014, 12:45:13 »

There have been a good few posts on the chevrolet forum recently about the unavailability of parts. Not the parts required if you smash into a wall, just ordinary consumer parts. The latest one is a rear screen wiper, although I'm sure I could manage that particular one with a bit of invention.

Hmm... see, in days of old, it would be the same as the Astra or Nova etc.. whatever. But with the cross pollination of cars with Daewoo and now GM having FIAT platform in the range, things are getting more complicated, not less. As you say, it's going to be invention that'll keep things going.

True. One some days as much as 70 or 80 pence.

That's almost 80% of its original list price.  :y

No need to fret. I believe you are considering a P/X on a shiny new Citroen in the new year.
