Spare Turkey
« on: 22 December 2014, 20:37:32 »

Sensible suggestions please. :)

Due to a generous neighbour and lack of communication between me and swmbo, we have ended up with two turkeys for Christmas. ::)

If anyone can suggest a good home for a 4.2Kg Turkey currently slowly defrosting on our kitchen worktop it would be most welcome.

I would not like to see a good bird go to waste, ;D

In the blame/sue culture we've blindly, greedily, stupidly wandered into as a society, would they be able to accept something like that?

Certainly worth asking, as a great idea/

Might be worth offering it on freecycle if jobsworths get in the way at the charities. It might go to someone needy if you choose the right respondent.

We have done the same. Nobody seems to like legs, wings, and brown meat these days.
