Talking of petrol prices........
« on: 28 June 2008, 18:30:03 »

I think I was kidded on the MPG of the meriva. 38mpg, fair enough. But when you look more closely it's 48 extra urban and 28 urban so 38 overall. I dont do extra urban!

Astra is also 38mpg. But 34 urban, 42 extra urban.

POO!

My 2.6 does about 28 in mixed driving and 32 on a long run.
Ithink that is pretty good . Being a manual probably helps. 8-)

28.9 Mpg

1 litres = 0.219969157 Imperial gallons

27 x 0.22 = 5.94

168 miles div by above answer   = 28.282828282828282828282828282828

obviously an exaggeration ;D no matter what i do, LPG, light footed, its never gonna be award winning MPG figures is it, since thats the sacrifice to be made by having the beautiful sound and performance of a 3.0 engine!

my lifestyle no longer requires it though

would rather my car was being used by someone who can use it to achieve its true capabilities
