So had to do a delivery at costa in brackley,loading bay for lorries/vans and only till 13.00,so an old woman pulled in before me,i just about gets parked in loading bay,and old woman gets out,i got out and told her she was in a loading bay,and was preventing other delivery drivers from being able to park and do their work,so what was her excuse,you can vote for 2 answers.

My Mum has a blue badge and she doesn't drive (anymore - thank Christ!  :-X) either  ;)

That does not matter in some cases, can still get a badge and car, and nominate a driver...... :y :y

This I know... I currently get free 24/7 parking right in the centre of town, but would be handy elsewhere  ::)  :-X

Choices 1 and 2
After doing a bit of research ive found out they dont have any right to park in loading bays,unless its stated they can,also can be fined £1000 for misuse of blue badge and can also have it taken of them .

I have a blue badge and I have to say the way people misuse them is outrageous...no one in the time I have had mine as ever checked mine :-X

Park where you have to to deliver, take pictures of them/their car and when you get a ticket present as evidence to counter it... Simples ayee... ::)

If its safe to double park if cars are parked in a loading bay,i tend to pull up by the side of them and block them in,so if i get a ticket i make sure the cars do aswell  :y

We have a hot-line for mis-use of them & for disibility cars too, used it several times to good affect!  ;D
