Omvl dream Xxi
« on: 30 December 2014, 19:35:47 »

Does anyone know where I can legitimately obtain the lpg software for the dream xxi system?

This is the older system eg the dream and not the dream 'n'

I can see the 'n' software online but nothing for the old dream ecu, is it the same software?

I'm looking at a used kit for my rangie, everything is there, but it's a door stop if I can't talk to the ecu!

Cheers for any knowledge :y

I think FES used to host the software previously, but their website no longer functions.

These chaps have the software. If you don't need the interface, maybe worth contacting them to enquire about standalone software price. Click on the interface kit on the left and scroll 2/3rd down. Cost is about £25 for the whole kit and according to the website covers the older dream 21.

By the way, the Dream 21 is very old. Is it really worth it?

I'd say yes, worth it. It's done low miles and the rangie is an uncomplicated engine, it's also very cheap :y

Thank you for the info :y

No, never got that far, as never really needed it.

Having said let me know if you get your hands on some as the 1.4 Tiggy could do with ECU look up, as when it was parked up for a while without a battery, it lost the LPG Tank Contents Sender (the 4 Green LED's, always shows Red / Empty even when full now). Apart from that still runs on spec, never really bothered me as just use the Mileage Trip.  ::)
