No mention of rust though :-\ That model E Class has either had the rust dealt with or it's cheerfully rusting away, but no mention either way :-\

I think you've missed the point of these type of threads Uncle STMO.  :-\

The point is to find a reasonable old car on ebay/Autotrader at a good price and we then proceed to pick it to bits and find every little fault or potential fault.  It's even OK to complain about mileage. Low or high it dosn't matter.   HTH!  ;)  :)

That's at a very dangerous mileage for gearbox and injector problems, both of which would realistically kill it. As would the rot that causes the front suspension to collapse, although it would probably have done that by now.

Just like Omegas, they're best considered as beaters so that one is way too expensive.

I don't like them very much, and the odd seating position rule them out for me.
