That's at a very dangerous mileage for gearbox and injector problems, both of which would realistically kill it. As would the rot that causes the front suspension to collapse, although it would probably have done that by now.

Just like Omegas, they're best considered as beaters so that one is way too expensive.

I don't like them very much, and the odd seating position rule them out for me.

Sorry but I disagree....that's low mileage for a 3.2 lump of that era, if properly maintained that merc will see 300k easily  :y

IF properly maintained. The engine will probably be OK, but gearboxes do fail(sealed for life, and if the fluid hasn't been changed isn't worth risking now) and the injectors are a real problem both to remove and to keep the replacements in. If you look at one, remove the engine cover, and if you see black sludge around the injectors, you don't want it!
