Weather here (and forecast for route) was simply-ghastly this morning (and that) combined with the shockingly high cost for petrol for the trip: I`took the executive decision not to go on a day-trip to Keswick and stay-home.

Wish i was there now, great last year, more folk this year, better than Glastonbury! Of course should i have attended Debs could'nt have stayed away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-/

I didnt go either Debs   ........I didnt really fancy the weather forecast either.....sharing a tent with a wet dog isnt my kinda fun.......and as you know they still need walking what ever the weather.....

The above and it would have cost me around £500, taking into account lost earnings fri/sat, fuel, and spending dosh .......i couldnt really justify it....

Tho if it had been forecast for hot sunny weather i would have probably thought bugger the money.......

Hopefully it will be sunny forecast for the Newent meet  

Perhaps you can make that one instead  :-/
