Mat fixings
« on: 04 January 2015, 20:18:37 »

I need some of the fixings for the front floor mats and looking at the EPC it appears to be part no 90513305 and I need four of them.

Anybody out there confirm this part number and if they are still available from Vx?

Mats are dark grey if that makes any difference.

Correct part number. Worth a call to dealers to see if they`re stock items

Cheers for that Mr C, looks like I had better hurry or the 6985 at Opel might sell out! ;D

But at 4 quid a pop I bet they don't.....but I do at least need two for the drivers side front as it drives me nuts.

I bet by the time I get in touch with the dealer the one's at Luton are gone, this lot will be buying them up. :y

Can these be "retrofitted" to the "non-clipped" carpets so as to stop the bloody mats having a life of their own ?? .. if so .. any instructions available ???

:)

my very old version of EPC has three parts ??

a "lower" part, a "centre" part and a 16mm "clip" ... does this make sense ??

Should be:

1 x receiving part, with a flange, fitted under carpet, with centre part protruding through the carpet.
1 x retaining flange, locates base in position and clips to it, effectively trapping the carpet.
1 x twist clip, as per post above.

Two required for each mat.

Later facelifts have floor fixings in all four footwells, but only drivers mat tend to have the holes in them ;)

Might be one of those bits which disappeared in 1999, only to reappear in 2002 :-\

That's what the EPC piccies imply ... so that's 3 part numbers ... none of which are the one quoted ... at least on my EPC .. :(

Nope .. 3 different codes for "lower" - 9101035 / 90438620 / 90363872  (Beige / Grey / Black)
 3 different codes for "centre"  - 9101034 / 90438619 / 90363871
 3 different codes for "16mm clip" - 90439928 / 90439413 / 90363881

I'm looking under "Body Interior Trim" / "Floor Mats & Carpeting" / "Carpet Mats - (Front)"
