Filled the Touareg yesterday,£1-16 per lt minus 20p per lt from the clubcard,so £0.96 lt paid for diesel which is cheapest I've had in many years :y :y

A quick Google suggests either Tunisia, Yemen or USA.  ::)  I wouldn't fancy Yemen much to be honest, even if the petrol is cheap.  :-\

45ppl sounds expensive, that said the US gallon is smaller than ours, so that kinda works...

Seattle isn't that cheap - it's about $2.60/gal here, so that's about £1.72/us gal and there are 3.79 US gallons per litre, £0.45 litre ;)

I knew that US gallons were small, but 3.79 gallons to a litre is about three litres less than I had in mind... ;D

How many pints are there in a US gallon then?  :-\

Hold on, don't they divide their gallons with fluid ounces or something?  ::)  :-\

Since when ?? 0.264172 US Gallons = 1 litre last time I calculated a fuel uplift in the states  :)  :)  :)

but that was over 6 years ago, perhaps they've changed since then ... :) and it was an uplift of 50,000 litres ... perhaps the numbers change with scale ??  :)
