The going price of Irmscher
« on: 24 January 2015, 19:14:30 »

After buying the MV6 Irmscher last week I was wondering what the going price for Irmscher kit is.

I would just like to say mine is NOT going to be sold.

Anyway how much do think you would pay to get hold of the following, I'll put my price that I think and you give me your opinion.

Steering wheel (silver not wood effect)  £150-200
Front bumper with fogs £300
Side skirts £100
Rear bumper £200
Twin (one each side) outlet exhaust £100
Wheels front 8J's rears 9J's just had referb with good tyres £600

If above is correct I just got myself a 3.2 MV6 for free

What price would you expect to pay for a facelift saloon kit

Prices you`ve quoted Jon are dependent on an Omega owner actually wanting to spend more than the cars value decorating it with trimmings ;D ;D ::)

This is true Rob, and if they were on the look out for a full kit then you would like to think they would take the price down. Every now and again parts do come up, like the front bumper the other week.

I'd say the prices you stated aren't too wide of the mark, bar steering wheel that I'd put in the £75-125 bracket.

Obviously it depends on condition. For example, the front bumpers are prone to damage, and many are split around the vents under the fogs.

The bumper the other week was the only item I've seen for some time, the price of that was what I've seen before so I used that as a guide for the prices I indicated.

My bumper is in good condition, both of them (fronts that I have).

£ 75 to £125          Steering wheel (silver not wood effect)  £150-200
£275 - £325           Front bumper with fogs £300
£100 - £150           Side skirts £100
£225 - £255           Rear bumper £200
£100 - £145           Twin (one each side) outlet exhaust £100
£400 - £600           Wheels front 8J's rears 9J's just had referb with good tyres £600
£100 - £125           Chrome Grill

Your not far out, my thoughts if its all in good nick on the Left for what its worth. but bear in mind Irmy Kit is a buyers market as in, as and when.  ;)

The one on the Bay is a Boot Spoiler rather than a Lip Spoiler, check the Part No's though as could be for a PF / MF pre 2000, from memory the part numbers were 4001409 and 4001410 for the Boots between the PF and FL but I dont have a brochure handy at the moment.
