Got all the options with the AA. Last renewal premium was just shy of £200. Rang `em up, immediately reduced to just under £111

This is how the script usually works. Not this time though. :'(

No call outs either in the seven years I have been with them.

Omega owner should get a further 30% discount from the AA for being so reliable. :)

So ho much have you paid in premiums over that period?  Bet you could have got a recovery home from most parts of the UK for less.............. ;) ;)

My point entirely. They OWE me. :y

I pay £18 a year for a cheap and cheerful, yet comprehensive breakdown cover which includes national recovery.  :y

The downside is that I pay a £40 excess if I call them out and they don't know how to break into an Omega.  ::)  ;D

The spotted yoof that the AA sent out to me managed that task and some... ::) keys locked in ignition, ignition on and drivers door mechanism seized... step one was getting into the car and step 2 was getting the drivers door open, followed by assisting with changing the mechanism...

The only downside was/is banking with Lloyds ::)

It was quicker to wait for the spare to arrive than wade through that lot.  ;D

Basically they piss on the loyal customer. It is exactly the same scenario with car insurance and banking. :(

This is why we need to shop around.

I pay less than that for joint cover (so all 3 of our cars are covered, plus anything we're in), with national Relay.
