Just taxed the wifes car on my iPad. 12 months @ £15odd. Very impressed with the service, took less than five minutes.

I can't be arsed with these new fangled ideas.

Exactly what was wrong with walking through the snow to the post office?... :)

£15 a month instead of £190 in one hit. If you sell the car, you cancel the direct debit, no need to wait for refunds from DVLA. Get with it, old fossil.  :P

Exactly what was wrong with walking through the snow to the post office and then finding that you've forgotten your insurance certificate, so you trudge back up the hill in the snow to get it, back down again, fall on your arse when you slip on some ice, into Post Office again only to find that you had last years MOT certificate all along!  ::)  :-[

Fixed again.  :-[  ;D

The old way was 'character building' ........especially if you picked up a nasty dose of the bubonic plague on the way there. :)

Anyway, STMO sits on his arse all day so the walk would do him good. :)

How does that work......£190 in one lump or a total of £180 if paid in monthly instalments?

I'm guessing that maths was never STMO's strong point. ;)

If you'd have read the first post, you'd have seen I said £15odd. Couldn't be arsed typing it again, esp. as trying to get a point over to Opti is like pulling teeth. ;D

Also, Mr Opti, it is a continuous direct debit, so I wont have to do it again next year.  :P

Is there no premium for doing it monthly now then?

Do you still get reminders if your old paper one is about to run out?
