My woman was dyeing her hair when I started changing the struts on her Golf. She came down, in PJs and with a towel on her shoulders, declared that she wanted a go, then finished the job herself... she also did the PAS pump on Elvis, and can weld. I love her.

Exactly!  Many of us can apply ourselves to far more than baby rearing and cooking.  We started in our early days to learn we wanted to avoid the situation of relying on men to fix our cars or carryout DIY around the house.  Nowadays women are lead engineers building atomic submarines, Crossrail, Airbus airliners, ships, etc, etc. Far more young women are applying their multi-tasking abilities to all kinds of employment once solely allocated to men.  Respect girls, respect!!

As for that manual.....if it exists............how bloody condescending!  We can read complicated manuals (which Haynes is not!) just as well as men and do not require separate publications!
