HBV leaking.

So just as I was thinking I've not had any omega issues lately, the coolant warning alert has started to come on over the last week, needing topped up every couple of days. Just been investigating and, (Aw Poop! :() it's the HBV dribbling away merrily. So new one ordered today from dealer for me to collect tomorrow. Glad I looked on here first though and got the most recent part no (95517483) or I could have been paying the higher original cost of the old one. Parts counter guy said I would have been if I'd quoted the old number. Once again the OOF site is being a great help. :)

How much are they from stealers  :y

I had the same problem, and paid £17 for mine, its sat at work at the mo, as I have alway got the heater on, and its not leaking, Mate said he would change it soon, save the £240 the dealer wanted to do it :(

ffs - how can they justify £240 just to change an hbv - that covers the cost of an awful lot of plasters ;)

Well, just been to collect new HBV from dealer, £14.95+vat, so £17.94 all in :). Better go and fit it now.
