Its never all the managers fault , someone has to bear the brunt of their losses and its always the manager... Similar to Pardew , the fans wanted him out  :(

Poor bastard. He'll have to console himself with a £10 million pay off.

Poor bastard. He'll have to console himself with a £10 million pay off, a few weeks off in the sun (either Dubai or Barbados) before the phone starts ringing with job offers when some other poor bastard gets sacked.  ::)

I asked my 16 year old cousin recently what he wanted to do when he leaves school and he said he wants to be a football manager.  ::)  I said that he may need a 'Plan B', but I think he's on to something!  :y

Spot on that  :y

I was there Tuesday night when we hammered the last nail in Lambert's coffin and I can confirm that most of villa's players don't give a toss about the club.
In fact, villa looked nothing like the team who beat us back in August.
Something is very wrong in the dressing room at villa when reasonably decent players like Weinmann who has been there since he was a kid, just doesn't give a shit  :(
The real question is, who is there out there who could do a better job ?

We are Aston Villa !!! We are going now where would like to say more but cant stop crying. All Villa problems stems from the top down. Players are paid a kings ransom and are quite happy to take there money for very little input, when they see that the chairman wants to walk away from the club and is wanting to sell why would they give there all.  >:( >:( :'( :'(

Its a poison chalice but you can bet there will be plenty of takers if only to get the sack and have a nice pay off.

I say one thing Steve, if you do go down its not as bad as you might think.
No more sky changing the kick off times to suit themselves.
Most games are on a Saturday afternoon.
No plastic / half and half scarf wearing fans.
Less hassle off the coppers and stewards.
Proper standing terraces at some grounds.
More affordable prices.
A lot better quality football then you think.
And at least you will have a chance of winning something because lets be honest, you have 5 or 6 teams in the premier that win everything.
3 out of maybe 8 fight it out for relegation and the rest just make up the numbers in the middle  :-\
Personally, I couldn't give a toss if my lot go down.

Isn't it true that the English Championship is the fifth or sixth biggest league in Europe?  :-\

Aston Villa have been in need of a spell in a lower division for quite some times in order for the required internal changes to be forced.

Sad fact but long overdue.

They've been "lucky" on a few occasions to stay up. Really, ever since O'Neil left. I'm not sure they are good enough to bounce back up following relegation. The best players will want to leave to join Premiership clubs.

Premier league football is skewed by how much money a club. And, as I've said so many times before, I think money has ruined our national game  :'(
