Finally a 6 pot....after eleven years. 2000 year, only 65k/miles , bought from 2nd owner which kept her in the garage for 2 years and I know both owners because I was waiting for this one to go for sale. She goes like a dream and I plan to keep her for a few years. Cloth seats, rear blind and leaking rocker gaskets...as usual.

I like it too, can't wait for the summer to polish it  an fit alloys after 15th March....she looks like a wheelbarrow from behind now with those 195mm winters on

So I went to a friend which borrows a local garage at weekends, the plan was to replace rocker gaskets - as you see above it was a lot of oil in there

Then I saw a leak from thermostat housing... And decided let's get that blo..y tinker out and replace it...It was an unlucky decision as we couldn't replace it without removing the back of cambelt cover off    (Damn and thise blo..y six pots ) just to find that camshaft seals are leaking too

Now this is how it ends.... She'll wait till monday - can't get parts anywhere for weekends. Cam covers, cam belt, aux belt, rear springs and fuel filter are waiting in the boot to be fitted. Only bugger that has to make it difficult is thermostat..now I have to go to work in friend's twingo tommorow
......I hate renaults....
